About Santorini

Meet Santorini, a young and sweet soul residing at the local shelter. Despite his shy nature, Santorini quickly warms up to new friends, showing his playful and cuddly side. He loves to chase soft toys and curl up in the laps of his favorite humans for a cozy nap. Santorini's gentle demeanor makes him the perfect companion for someone looking for a loving and low-key friend. Adopting Santorini means giving him the forever home he deserves, where he can share all his love and playful antics. Santorini has been diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). CH is a neurological disorder that occurs when the cerebellum, the part of the brain which controls fine motor skills and coordination, is not fully developed. Hence the nickname "Wobbly Cat Syndrome." Cats with CH may fall over or appear to struggle getting around and generally do best in homes with minimal stairs and prefer carpeting instead of hard flooring to prevent possible injuries. While there is no cure for CH, it is not painful and these animals can lead long, happy lives with their new families, still offering plenty of affection and often being very playful and curious of the fast-moving world around them!
