About Chance

Chance is a reserved, young American Shorthair with long, buff and tan tabby fur. He's between 10 months and 1.5 years old and is still learning to trust after a rough start. Found abandoned with his best friend Hope, Chance is slow to warm up but becomes playful and gentle once he feels secure. He's bonded closely with Hope and must be adopted with her. Chance needs a patient, compassionate adopter who will let him settle at his own pace. With time and kindness, there's every reason to believe he’ll blossom into a devoted companion. He gets along with other cats and children, but will need support as he adjusts. Click apply to start the adoption process.
