Spayed Female 10 Months Old 42 Pounds $200 Meet Andrea! This 10-month-old mixed breed beauty is full of personality, love, and puppy energy. Andrea came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about her past, but we do know she’s an incredibly sweet and social girl who enjoys meeting new people and soaking up attention. Andrea is still very much a puppy and will benefit from continued training and structure as she grows. She’s eager and playful but does need some work on leash manners, especially with pulling during walks. With patience and consistency, she has all the potential to become an amazing companion. Andrea has shown some protectiveness over her food and toys, so she would likely do best being fed separately from other pets in the home while she continues to learn positive sharing behaviors. She seems interested in other dogs and acts like she’d enjoy having canine friends to play with, though she has not yet been formally tested with other dogs. At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals! We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
