About Jewel

Meet Jewel, a beautiful girl with striking eyes! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 5/12, but sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Volunteers describe Jewel as very sweet and friendly. She is quiet in her kennel and keeps her space tidy, which may mean she is house-trained. Jewel also knows how to sit nicely when asked. As a Husky, Jewel has an adventurous and energetic personality. Huskies thrive when they receive plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation, and if they become bored, they are known to create their own adventures. Anyone considering adopting Jewel should be prepared to provide the time, patience, and activity this smart, active girl needs to thrive in her new home. Jewel is approximately 7 years old, and weighs 46 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed upon adoption. Please come meet Jewel in kennel 53; her ID # is 18924. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136.
