About Azucar
Meet Azucar, a spunky little island boy with a sweet personality and a lot of heart. Azucar is about 3–4 years old and weighs just 8 lbs. He’s making his way from Puerto Rico, hoping to find a forever home or foster in the United States. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and happiest when close to his people or curled up for a nap in a soft spot. His jaw is slightly misformed—likely from an old injury—but it doesn’t cause him pain or affect his day-to-day life, and you’ll barely notice unless you look closely. Azucar’s past in Puerto Rico was uncertain; after being found alone and waiting for someone to claim him, no one showed. Now, he’s ready for his second chance with someone who’ll appreciate his loving nature and big personality packed into a small body. Azucar gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. He’s also house trained, making him an easy companion for most homes. Ready to give this little guy the fresh start he deserves? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
