About Dolly Llama
Dolly Llama is a resilient, gentle little lady who’s worked hard for her soft landing. She came into foster care in rough shape, underweight and limping from old injuries—a broken hip and foot that both healed with time, care, and some much-deserved pampering. Now healthy and weighing in at about 11 pounds, Dolly walks confidently, though she may lift her leg when excited, especially if she’s running to greet you. She’s best suited to a one-story home or with someone willing to carry her if stairs are unavoidable. Dolly thrives on human companionship. She’s calm, easygoing, and loves to cuddle—preferring cozy time with her people over rowdy play with other dogs. She’ll politely ask to be picked up (sometimes with a little chat), and she makes herself at home wedged between pillows at bedtime. Mealtime is her favorite part of the day, right after soaking up the sun on her dog bed. She’s house trained and generally very quiet, making for an easy roommate. She gets along with other small dogs and has done well with young children. Dolly rides smoothly in the car and handles grooming and bath time with no fuss. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and recently had her teeth cleaned. Dolly was born January 12th, under the sign of Capricorn, so she brings Cap’s practical and sweet determination to everything she does. If you’re searching for a mellow, affectionate little companion with a lot of heart, Dolly is waiting in Houston, TX. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
