About Foxx
Foxx is a sweet and playful Plott Hound mix with an adventurous side. Grab a leash and he’ll be up and ready—walks are a highlight for him, and he handles them beautifully. Foxx comes with energy to spare, thriving on play, exploration, and movement, but when the fun winds down, he’s perfectly content to sprawl out and relax on a comfy bed like a true couch potato. His playful side stays gentle and bouncy, especially when he’s with his dog friends, but he’s also happy with all the attention to himself. This guy is sharp; Foxx knows several basic commands and stays motivated by treats and toys. If he seems a bit reserved at first, give him a little time—he’ll quickly show his affectionate nature and those impossible-to-ignore shiny eyes. He connects well with other dogs, but is perfectly content as a solo family member, too. Foxx is heartworm positive but eligible for foster-to-adopt while he completes treatment (which is non-contagious and managed by Animal Friends Alliance). He's had a rough start and is so ready to be part of a loving family for good. If you want a companion who balances playfulness with chill time, Foxx is your guy. Volunteers swear by his intelligence and his gentle spirit, even if his bark is big. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
