Hi, I’m Steven! I’m a 10-week-old Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler) mix weighing about 8 pounds, and my foster says I’m the definition of a sweetheart. I’m incredibly people-oriented and happiest when I’m close to my humans. I love curling up for naps, soaking up affection, and gazing up at you like you’re my whole world. I have a calm, loving nature and the kind of gentle personality that makes people fall in love with me very quickly. I’m being fostered in Beverly Hills, Michigan. I’ve been wonderful with my foster’s 5-year-old son and am very gentle and responsive during playtime. Like most Heeler puppies, I do sometimes try puppy mouthing, but I redirect easily and am already learning my manners beautifully. I’m also very confident and social for such a little guy—I haven’t been bothered at all by very large dogs, and I’ve shown zero interest in chasing the cat in my foster home. I’m doing fantastic with potty training and am a smart puppy who genuinely wants to connect and learn. Because I’m still young, I’ll need continued guidance with all the puppy basics like crate training, structure, and consistency as I grow. I’d thrive in a home looking for not just a dog, but a true companion. I have such a soft, affectionate temperament and so much love to give. I’ll come fully vetted for my age, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and I’m ready to find my forever family.
