Luna is a 4-year-old Domestic Short Hair who’s been through more than most cats ever will. After surviving outdoors with a badly broken tail (which has since been amputated), she’s left the rough world of survival and is ready for a calm, loving home. Luna is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean she can’t live a full, happy life or isn’t worthy of affection. She’s shy at first—never aggressive—preferring to keep her distance until she feels safe. Toys and treats are her simple joys, and she’s most comfortable in a peaceful environment, away from other pets and young kids. Luna is looking for someone gentle and patient who understands the value of earning a cat’s trust. She’s best as the only pet, where her quiet spirit can blossom without pressure. She’s fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and ready for someone willing to look past her label and see the affectionate, resilient survivor she really is.
