About Aspen
Aspen is a four-year-old tripod Border Collie mix with a bright, goofy personality. She’s playful, affectionate, and always ready to join in on any adventure or game of Tug o War. Snuggling on the couch is her idea of a perfect evening, and she’ll gladly curl up right on top of you. Aspen loves to learn and is extremely food motivated, so training comes easily—expect her to thrive on new tricks and mental challenges. Due to her natural herding instincts, Aspen should be in a home without cats or small animals, as her chase drive is strong. She enjoys playing with other dogs, though slow introductions help set her up for success. She can get excited when meeting new people, sometimes jumping to greet, so a home without small children is best. Being a tripod doesn't slow Aspen down; she’s mastered stairs, is potty and crate trained, and navigates new spaces well—carpeted or rugs help her feel most secure. An active home with a big yard and people who appreciate her loving, silly energy will suit her best. Aspen is a special dog with so much joy to give. Start your journey together! Apply now.
