If endless sunshine came in dog form, it would be Tyson. Tyson is a 7 month old Labrador Retriever who was surrendered into our care and is now looking for a family willing to help him become the amazing dog we know he can be. At 63 lbs already, Tyson is fully vetted and heartworm negative. Like many adolescent labs, Tyson is full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for life. He loves to test boundaries, explore the world with his mouth, and believes every dog he meets should immediately become his best friend. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, though he is still learning that not every dog appreciates his over-the-top excitement and playful nature. Tyson absolutely adores people and has no aggression whatsoever. He is a complete sweetheart who just never had much structure or guidance before coming to us. Because he is still learning manners and can be a bit clumsy and excitable, he may accidentally knock over small children during playtime. Tyson will thrive with an adopter who understands the Labrador breed and is committed to providing the exercise, consistency, training, and patience that go into raising a well-balanced young dog. He is incredibly loving, loyal, and eager to connect with his people. With the right guidance, Tyson is going to make an incredible lifelong companion. He is not a bad dog. He is simply a young lab learning how to exist in the world, and he is looking for someone willing to see the wonderful dog he is becoming.
