About Charlene
Charlene is a one-year-old Shepherd mix bursting with energy and a love of playtime. She does well in her crate at night, sleeping quietly and accident-free, but she’ll need more practice with house training in her new home. Charlene picks up commands quickly—she already knows "sit" and is learning "lay down" and "shake," plus she comes when called and walks politely on leash. With her exuberant personality, Charlene is best suited for families with older kids, at least while she’s working out the basics and learning to keep her excitement in check. She hasn't met any cats yet, so her compatibility with them is unknown. Charlene is eager for a home that can give her structure and room to run, as well as patience and continued training.
