To meet Smulchie, please text 214 621 1139. Smulchie is a stunning purebred, CFA registered Persian kitty. She was surrendered to the rescue and taken into foster care. Due to the rigors of her maintenance, Smulchie's owners decided to let our rescue find a new home for her. This kitty is incredibly sweet. She is very receptive to being petted, touched and handled. She has the loudest snortle which passes as her way of purring. Smulchie's face is already adorable but she has this habit of sticking her little tongue out at you and looking up at you with huge golden eyes. Apparently, this endearing trait is the result of genetically bred "smushed-faced" look of the Persian breed. Please understand that this kitty is a high maintenance kitty. When Smulchie came to our rescue, her fur coat was very ragged and matted. She was underweight and very bony. Due to the lack of proper grooming in her previous household, Smulchie had to be brought to a special groomer to be shaved and provided with a lion cut. Her sweet little face needs extra care as Persian cats' eyes tend to drain and need daily cleaning to keep the facial fur looking its best. Please do not apply if you do not have the time to provide this sweetheart of a kitty the necessary grooming and eye care requirements. We are looking for a quiet household with a stay-at-home/work-from home owners who is willing to provide plenty of tender care and affection to this kitty. In return, you will get a stunning purebred kitty with so much love and affection to give.
