Meet Orion, around 1 years old, 45 lbs....and 100% sweet boy. Orion was set to be euthanized at a rural Georgia shelter, but we couldn't let them happen once we saw his pictures, and we scooped him up to give him the possibility of the happy life this happy boy deserves! Orion LOVES people. He gets so excited meeting new people, whether it's on the street during a walk or if its guests being welcomed into your house. He is not picky with WHO is rubbing his belly...just as long as someone is. Orion loves to nap on the couch directly on top of you. He doesn't understand personal space, so if you need a cuddle bug AND a lazy couch potato...this is your guy! He is an absolute blast to have in the house. He is so goofy and loves to love. You won't be able to take a single nap without him snuggled on top of you He also is EXTREMELY dog friendly! A 3lb dog or 90lb dog...all dogs are friends to him! He loves playing around with other dogs and has a very submissive personality. While we don't know how he is with cats, we do know he hasn't shown any interest in them on our walks. He doesn't chase lizards, squirrels OR birds! He does EXCELLENT on walks! No pulling, no barking...even when another dog barks at him! Even though he does great on his walks, he definitely prefers to be inside. He loves nothing more than being inside playing with toys while sitting on your lap. Because he is a low rider bully breed, he does not do well being outside in the heat for extended periods of time. He definitely would prefer to watch TV with you in a nice cold room! Because he was found as a stray and is still young, we are currently working on house training, but he has been doing so well. He hasn't had an accident in a long time, but we still are consistent with taking him out constantly to use the bathroom. He is also being crate trained and does excellent in the crate! Orion is incredibly smart. He is also a fantastic listener! He listens when you want him to drop something, or if you need him to follow you! He is GREAT on car rides! Does great sitting in back and eventually will just lay down for the remainder of the ride. He just needs a little help getting up into the car and out! Orion lets you wipe his feet, and brush his teeth, as long as he knows a belly rub and a treat will happen quickly after There doesn't seem to be much of anything that bothers Orion. He does great during thunderstorms and also isn't disturbed by loud noises in the house! We promise you Orion will light up your world JUST like the constellation he is named after - The most perfect dog...no wonder he is SUCH a star! Located in Pinellas County, Florida.
