Curly is a spirited, golden-coated Lurcher in Hayward, WI, ready for his next chapter off the racetrack. At about 3.5 years old, he’s left his field racing days behind in favor of backyard sprints and couch time with his people. Curly needs a securely fenced yard—he loves to run, and it’s non-negotiable for him. Once he’s worked out his energy, he is a true cuddler who thinks nothing of climbing into your lap. This athletic guy already has his basics down: he’s crate trained, house trained, and knows commands like no, leave it, and lay down. He walks well on leash and is always up for an outdoor adventure. Fetch and squeaky toys are big favorites. Curly gets along well with other dogs his size, but he isn’t suitable for homes with small/medium dogs, cats, or small children. He’s happiest in an adult home where he can run, play, and soak up affection. If you’re looking for a good-natured, fast, and loving companion, Curly might be your perfect fit.
