📌 PLEASE READ FIRST Panda is currently in South Korea and can fly to the U.S. as early as May 26 with a flight volunteer. To be considered, a complete written adoption application must be submitted first. All approved adopters begin with a two-week trial and monitoring period to help ensure a safe, thoughtful, and long-term match while Panda adjusts to his new environment and family. 📝 Apply to Adopt Panda https://forms.gle/UmpfbgmydH7igSdN7 📸 More Photos & Videos (Google Album) https://photos.app.goo.gl/Fax4gAgWtRkqpVDHA 💛 Adoption Fee: $650 Includes neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, veterinary exam, official health certificate, pre-departure veterinary care, and international transportation to the U.S. Panda is an 8-month-old neutered male weighing about 7 kg (~15.5 lbs) with a fun, social, and affectionate personality. He was rescued from Jeongeup city shelter in South Korea and has quickly become a favorite thanks to his gentle temperament, playful energy, and ability to get along beautifully with both people and dogs. He is still very much a puppy at heart — curious, silly, cuddly, and always excited to be included in daily life. ✨ Quick Facts • Age: 8 months • Sex: Neutered Male • Weight: 7 kg (~15.5 lbs) • Energy Level: Moderate to moderately high puppy energy • Rescue: Rescued from Jeongeup city shelter • Health: Overall healthy • Notes: Occasionally sneezes during high pollen seasons outdoors 🌿 Personality Panda is extremely people-oriented and affectionate. • Friendly and curious with both men and women • Quickly warms up to anyone who shows him affection • Loves leaning against or sitting close to his people • Very social, emotionally expressive, and eager to bond • Gentle and affectionate without being overwhelming He is the kind of dog who happily follows you around the house and wants to be included in whatever you are doing. 👨👩👧 With People & Children • Friendly with men and women alike • Enjoys meeting new people • Welcomes affection quickly • Does very well with children and happily wags his tail when approached politely • Loves physical closeness and companionship 🐶 With Other Dogs Panda is highly social and playful with other dogs. • Excellent dog-to-dog social skills • Adjusts his play style based on the other dog • Loves chase games and interactive play • Often invites dogs to play politely by bowing or lying down first • Especially enjoys dog companionship and would likely thrive with another playful dog in the home With extremely tiny dogs, supervision is recommended simply because Panda enthusiastically tries to initiate play and may not fully understand his size. 🏠 Home Behavior • No separation anxiety • Rests quietly when left alone • Entertains himself with toys or naps • Very quiet overall and rarely barks • Non-destructive with proper toys and structure Panda did briefly try chewing furniture when he first arrived, but responded immediately to correction and has not repeated the behavior. ⚠️ Important Puppy Note Panda loves plush and rope-style toys but also enjoys tearing fabric or strings apart. Because of this, soft toys should always be supervised to prevent accidental ingestion of fabric or threads. Durable silicone or rubber toys are recommended. 🚽 Potty Training • Strong preference for outdoor potty • Currently doing full outdoor potty training • Enjoys walks and outdoor routines 🚶 Exercise & Walks Panda genuinely loves outdoor activity and social adventures. Current routine: • Two walks daily • Evening walks typically 30–60 minutes • Weekend dog park or play outings lasting 2–3 hours He enjoys: • Running and playing • Exploring familiar walking routes • Meeting dogs politely • Outdoor social time He can occasionally startle at loud noises but recovers well overall. 🚗 Car Rides & Public Transportation • Does well on short car rides • Calm on public transportation • Longer trips may cause drooling from motion sickness 🛏 Crate & Sleeping • Comfortable resting inside an open kennel • Enjoys relaxing on his own bed or mat • Sleeps independently and settles nicely indoors • Still learning formal “house/crate” verbal cues 🛁 Grooming & Handling • Tolerates baths quite well • Tooth brushing is not his favorite, but manageable with gentle handling • Overall cooperative and easygoing during care 🍽 Diet & Health • Currently eating Orijen Puppy + Intestinal diet food • Treats are kept somewhat limited due to sensitive stomach management • No known allergies, though pollen-heavy outdoor conditions may trigger sneezing 💊 Preventatives • Monthly preventative for fleas, ticks, and heartworms must be continued year-round, including winter months • NexGard is given every 13th day of each month throughout the year for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention 🧸 Favorite Things • Ball play • Socializing with dogs • Running outdoors • Chewing durable toys • Staying physically close to his humans 💛 Ideal Home Panda would thrive in: • An active household • A home with another playful dog • Adopters who enjoy walks, outings, and social activities • Families looking for an affectionate and social companion • Homes willing to continue positive puppy guidance and structure 🚫 Not the Best Match • Very noise-sensitive households may need patience while he adjusts • Homes expecting a fully mature, perfectly settled adult dog immediately • Families leaving soft plush toys unattended 💬 The Reality Panda is still young and learning, but he already has an exceptionally sweet temperament. He is social, adaptable, affectionate, and eager to connect with both humans and dogs. Like any adolescent puppy, he will continue benefiting from structure, supervision, and ongoing guidance as he matures. 💛 Why Panda Panda is the kind of dog who brings warmth and joy everywhere he goes. He is cuddly, playful, socially intelligent, and genuinely loves both people and dogs. With just a little adjustment time and continued consistency, he has all the makings of an incredible lifelong companion.
