Meet Myrtle — one of the sweetest souls still waiting for her happy ending. At just 3.5 years old, Myrtle has already spent almost TWO YEARS in our shelter. Recently, we thought her dream had finally come true when she was adopted, but heartbreak struck again when her adopter experienced unexpected medical issues and could no longer care for her. Through no fault of her own, Myrtle found herself back at the shelter once again. Despite everything, this girl continues to love with her whole heart. Myrtle is about 55 pounds of affection, loyalty, and pure sweetness. She has made incredible strides with her training and has truly blossomed into such a wonderful dog. She knows her commands, loves being with her people, and gets along great with other dogs. She just needs someone willing to give her the chance she has been waiting so patiently for. Shelter life has gone on far too long for Myrtle. She deserves cozy beds, lazy weekends, belly rubs, and a family who will finally make her feel safe forever.
