Santana Lee (approximately 57 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This social, outgoing, and affectionate boy was a favorite amongst staff & volunteers at his previous shelter, which is why they sent him North to find his fur-ever home. As the longest-running resident there, he was constantly overlooked for adoption, and his massive fan club believes it was due to his looks. We see an adorable dude with a heart-shaped nose and a charming underbite that shows off his teefs, but apparently some adopters commented that our boy Santana is - gasp - ugly!! Obviously their eyes aren't working properly, because we know this boy is gorgeous both inside & out! Santana Lee's first love is people, but he is fantastic with other dogs and enjoys spending time with canine pals. One of his biggest fans is a little girl who spent so much time trying to help him get adopted, she painted a portrait of him - come on down & we'll show it to you as it is an amazing representation of Santana Lee & the devotion he inspires! Santana Lee would love his own person or family to do activities with him, cuddle with him on the couch, and make sure he has all the delicious snack treats he can handle.
