Kevin was just transferred to MCPAWS. Kevin is a young pup who is still figuring out how big the world really is. While he can be a bit unsure at first and takes a little longer to warm up to new situations, once he feels safe, he is a total joy. The team at West Valley Humane (WVH) describes him as having a “heart full of love,” and we couldn’t agree more. He truly craves affection and is looking for a patient partner to help his confidence grow. Once Kevin is comfortable, his fun-loving energy really shines! He has a lot of “go” in him and loves to run and play. Because of his athletic spirit and high energy levels, he would likely make an excellent running buddy for an active family looking for a partner on the trails or around the neighborhood. Kevin is a work in progress with a very high ceiling for success! Because he is still learning and can be a bit “mouthy” when he’s excited, we recommend a home with older children (roughly 10 years and up). He would love a family that is willing to invest time in his continued socialization and training. Important Notes: Meet the Family: We require that Kevin meets the whole family before heading home to ensure it’s a perfect match for everyone. Other Animals: We aren’t sure yet how Kevin feels about other dogs, cats, or livestock.
