🐾 Courtesy Post for Gus Gus 🐾 6 Years Old | Neutered Male 📍 Racine, WI We are sharing Gus Gus in hopes of helping him find a soft landing and a loving new home as quickly as possible. 💔 Due to a sudden and very difficult change in his family’s living circumstances, Gus Gus is in urgent need of a new place to call home. His family loves him deeply and is doing everything they can to make sure he ends up somewhere safe, stable, and full of love. Gus Gus is current on vaccines, current on heartworm prevention, and has recently tested negative for heartworm. According to his owners, he does well with other dogs. He has not lived with cats, so his reaction to them is unknown. His owners do mention that Gus Gus can sometimes be hesitant around men, and they would be happy to discuss his behavior further with any serious potential adopter to help ensure a good fit. Gus Gus also gets occasional hot spots, which are areas of irritated, inflamed skin that can become itchy and uncomfortable for dogs. Hot spots are fairly common and manageable with proper care and treatment. His owners are more than willing to explain what works best for him and how they have successfully cared for them in the past.
