Meet Toby! Toby is a charming, affectionate little guy who has settled into foster life beautifully. He appears to be fully potty trained with no accidents so far, and has been an easy houseguest from day one. Toby sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, does well when left alone during the day, and hasn't shown any destructive behaviors. In fact, his foster says he's been so quiet they haven't even heard him bark yet! Toby enjoys his walks and may have short legs, but don't let that fool you, this little speedster can move! He's doing well on leash and already knows how to "sit." Around the house, he's calm and easygoing, happily settling down while his people cook, work, or relax for the evening. He always likes to keep his humans in sight and grows more comfortable and confident every day. One of Toby's favorite things in the world is being close to his people. He's a total cuddle bug who loves belly rubs, curling up in laps, snuggling on the couch, and soaking up affection whenever he can. He has never met a stranger, everyone is instantly his friend! He's friendly, happy, entertaining, and full of lovable enthusiasm. Toby gets along well with his foster's large Lab mix and would happily play more if the other dog was interested. While he hasn't met kids yet, his foster doesn't expect that to be an issue because he seems to genuinely enjoy everyone he meets. He also enjoys carrying plush toys around and doing little zoomies before settling back down for cuddle time. Toby is the kind of dog who will lay right in your path just to remind you he's there, and honestly, who could resist stopping to pet such a cute face? His sweet personality, affectionate nature, and adaptable temperament make it easy to see him thriving in just about any home. Toby has an adoption investment of $500. Toby's higher adoption investment does not mean we value his life more than others. We do not see dogs like Toby enter our care very often. Therefore, his higher adoption investment will help create a financial legacy for the dogs that stay in our care for longer periods of time or require significant medical investment.
