Sonora Mom is a petite tabby lady who knows exactly what she wants: a cozy indoor life, good snacks, and a human to dote on her! Once she feels safe, she is not shy about asking for attention. She’s happy to be picked up and snuggled, and her soft, relaxed body lets you know she’s content even if you don’t hear a purr. Sonora will gently nudge your hand, roll onto her back for more chin scratches, and curl up like a little bean right beside you or on your lap while you relax. She enjoys wet food, treats, catnip, and a good session with her favorite horizontal box-style scratcher. Sonora is a sensitive girl who appreciates having quiet hideaways available when life feels a bit overwhelming, and she may choose the coziest, darkest corner to recharge. In her foster home, she settled in with the resident cats and even warmed up quickly to a foster kitten. She also adjusted to two dogs in the foster home and was most comfortable with those who respected her space. Sonora doesn’t mind a household that’s sometimes busy or noisy, but she’s most likely to seek out affection once things calm down for the day. Sonora Mom is ready to be a lady of kitty leisure, soaking up love and comfort in her new home!
