About Sky
Sky has spent much of his life outdoors, but he's finally ready to discover the comfort of living inside. He's particular about his canine company and would do best as the only dog in the house, making him a good fit for someone wanting a one-and-only companion. Sky gets along well with children and is welcoming to visitors, but he should not live with cats or livestock. He recently started adjusting to life indoors and did well with housebreaking during his recent home trial. As he's never spent long hours in a crate, a patient adopter willing to help him learn would be ideal. Sky walks nicely on a leash and is calm on car rides. A secure yard with a tall, well-built fence is a must, since he's been known to climb or dig under weak spots. With consistent structure and guidance, Sky can settle in and thrive. He's neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He did test faintly positive for heartworm and has begun slow kill treatment. Born April 7, Sky is an Aries, so he's got a bit of spirited determination. Give him the stability he’s missed, and you’ll see a loyal pup come into his own. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
