About Cosmo

Cosmo is a sweet Aussie/Beagle mix, still just a puppy and about 8 pounds, expected to reach a medium size when grown (around 25-30 pounds). He stays busy, has a soft coat, downturned ears, and makes great eye contact. Cosmo enjoys attention, handles new people with confidence, and doesn’t shy away from being held. He’s social with his dog group and vocal, but not excessive about it. Cosmo is learning quickly: currently working on wee pad training, sleeping in his kennel, and starting his DHPP vaccines and deworming schedule. The ideal home for Cosmo is one where someone isn’t gone all day, every day—a work-from-home or flexible schedule is best to give him the puppy socialization and guidance he needs. He’d thrive with kids 8 or older, and he gets along well with other dogs. Cosmo is at CCPAL Rescue in Bandera, TX, and can be adopted locally or transported to approved regions including parts of the East Coast and Midwest. Curious about him? He really could use a home ready to keep up with his energetic but friendly nature. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
