A Sato is a Puerto Rican street dog, known for being intelligent, resilient, and incredibly devoted to their people. Nanook absolutely loves being outdoors and would thrive with an active family that enjoys hiking, walking, jogging, or simply spending time outside. Walks, sniffing adventures, rolling in the grass, zoomies, and exploring the world are some of his favorite things. He is happiest when he has room to play, move, and be part of the action. Nanook does well with both dogs and cats, though he is still learning just how big and strong he is. Like many young dogs, he can become playful and mouthy when excited, so he would do best with adults or older children who can continue helping him learn gentle manners and boundaries. He can initially be a little nervous meeting new people and may need a bit of time to warm up. Once he feels safe and comfortable, Nanook becomes an affectionate, loyal shadow who wants to stay close to his people as much as possible.
