Hi. My name is Rusty I’m a 3-year-old orange and white boy with a pretty simple wish: I’d really love another home to call my own. My whole world changed when my person passed away, and I’m still trying to understand it all. The nice volunteers keep telling me what a sweetheart I am, and honestly… I think I’m already working my way into their hearts a little bit. I’m a laid-back guy who enjoys the quieter things in life—soft beds, gentle pets, and keeping good company. I’ve lived with other cats before and did just fine with them. I’m not looking for drama… just kindness, comfort, and someone to love again. Even after everything, I’m still incredibly affectionate and trusting. I lean into pets, soak up attention, and quietly remind everyone that orange boys really are something special. Right now, I’m just hoping someone sees me and realizes I don’t need anything fancy—just a soft place to land and a person to love me for the rest of my days. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
