Meet Elvin (a.k.a Tubs or Tubby) Mr. Elvin is approximately 5-year-old Shih Tzu mix full of love and warm cuddles In fact, he's so quiet we've never heard a single bark in weeks. Due to the extra love he carries, he needs a little lift assist to get on and off the couch or even if climbing up the stairs but with a little more daily exercise and weight management I'd assume those tasks will no longer be a challenge. He has stolen the hearts of anyone he meets as he is the happiest little lap magnet out there. He tested well on a leash, he heeled perfectly without even knowing it. He will stay close by his people on or off leash. He will sleep on his own in our out of a crate, on the couch, or even in your bed. He will go wherever he needs to go and be happy with your choice even though I'm sure he'd love to snuggle his human. Never judge a book by its cover, because despite his size, he has no aggression for food and will even have food right above his head and not beg for it. He will even leave his bowl unfinished and allow another dog come clean his bowl. He is a little timid around some dogs but will just move out their way because his sweet and lovable personality never wants to show dominance. He's simply looking for a nice, cozy home where he can feel safe and loved.
