Tamora came into our care after she was living in someone's yard, with her newborn kittens. Tamora was not socialized to humans when she came into our care, but got more comfortable while she was in her foster home raising her kittens. Once she was finished raising them and they were adopted, Tamora was spayed and her foster mom started working with her and she now loves being pet. She's moved to our "finishing school" location, where several volunteers visit with her each day so that agreed get used to be people. Now, she instantly purrs and rolls around (and sometimes even drools) when she is getting pets. She's still a bit shy with new people, but now enjoys being a pampered house cat. She might never become a traditional lap cat, but she does enjoy snuggling next to her foster mom to watch TV.
