About Ricotta

Find a girl who's an FIP graduate and whose eye makeup is always on point! Ricotta is a last kitten from our "Cheese Tray" litter. Her mama Gouda stays in another so Ricotta can discover herself with her room-aunt June. She survived "Dry" FIP -- the harsher form that affects the brain. But besides her enjoying human company a bit more, you'd never be able to tell just looking at her. She went from scattering the moment she heard a someone come in, to waiting by the door so she can be the first to see who it is. Even though she's about 1 yr old, she is still petite and soft as a cloud. FIP SURVIVOR! Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is a devastating, historically fatal disease in cats caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus, typically affecting cats aged six months to five years. It causes severe, widespread inflammation, presenting in "wet" (fluid buildup in chest/abdomen), "dry" (organ inflammation), or combined forms. While once considered untreatable, antiviral medications have made FIP manageable!
