About Sammy Q
Sammy Q is searching for someone steady, patient, and understandingāsomeone willing to let him set the pace and rediscover a sense of safety. His story is heavy: Sammy Q was one of 14 cats who lost their caretaker, 'Coach,' in mid-2023. Coach spent years saving cats, calling them his 'children,' and ever since, Sammy Q has wrestled with loss and uncertainty on his own terms. He withdrew for a long time, rarely seeking out attention, happiest when left to quietly observe from the shadows. Lately, with gentle encouragement and zero pressure, heās begun peeking out of hiding. Heāll watch quietly, knead from afar, and tentatively approach for pets. Thereās a gentle soul beneath the fear, showing real hope for deeper connection. Living with 15 cats in the foster space isnāt easy for someone sensitive like Sammy Q. Heāll do much better in a quieter setting, perhaps as a single cat or with just a few gentle companions. Sammy Q gets along with other cats, but heāll thrive with calm company and as much peace as you can offer. Heās not chasing perfectionāhe just needs a patient person ready to give him space, kindness, and the chance to build trust at his own pace. Sammy Q is neutered, house trained, and up to date on his vaccines. He was born January 9th, making him a determined Capricornāa sign known for quiet resilience. If youāre interested in fostering or adopting Sammy Q, we encourage you to reach out. Heās ready for someone to help him write a better second chapter. Click apply to start the adoption process.
