About Hank
Hank is a big-hearted Cane Corso with the mind of a playful puppy trapped in a massive, brindle-and-sable coat. Heās endlessly socialāmeeting people and spending time with other dogs are his favorite things. Hankās goofy streak and deep affection win everyone over quickly, but heās still new to the comforts of home life after years outdoors, likely used for breeding. House manners and leash skills are a work in progress; heāll pull and can jump up in excitement, so heās looking for someone whoāll keep up clear, consistent boundaries and work with him patiently. This breedās instincts run deep. Hank is a natural guardian and needs an adopter with real experience handling mastiffs or other protective giants. That instinct makes him a loyal, loving protector once he bonds, but means first-time or unprepared adopters arenāt a fit. Hank shines when he has structure and an outlet for his playful energyāheād be thrilled with another friendly dog at home. Because of his size and exuberance, Hank should live with older kids (12+) who understand boundaries. Cats remain an unknown. If you know how to guide a guardian breed and want loyal companionship with a side of comic relief, Hankās waiting for you. This could be the start of something paw-some.
