Maverick is a handsome 2-year-old pup weighing around 60 lbs who is ready for a fresh start. Life may not have always been easy for this sweet boy, but he hasn't let that dim his loving spirit. Maverick walks nicely on leash and enjoys spending time out in the yard stretching his legs and soaking up attention. He loves treats, already knows "sit," and will even catch a treat mid-air to show off his skills. Most of all, Maverick enjoys being close to people and getting plenty of pets and affection. This gentle guy is hoping to find a family that will give him the love and kindness he truly deserves. ~~~~~ The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov. Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time.
