About Charlie

Charlie is a spayed female Sheltie Mix who is looking for a new home. She came to the shelter because she did not do well with the man in her former home. She was around children and other dogs and did well. She is working on her house-training and leash training skills while she waits for a new home. We do not know how she is with cats or other small animals. Charlie is very shy with men, but does well with the female staff here at the shelter. If you're interested in meeting her/him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9AM-5PM to schedule an appointment. WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required) The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.) Step 2— Pick up your new pet! Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
