Jack is a 3 year old neutered Akita/Lab mix. He came to us as a local surrender due to family issues and has been through a lot the past few days. Jack would be best for someone with big dog experience. He is a great guy. He will need to be groomed regularly. Jack will need patience and time. He is good with cats and ok with other dogs with slow introductions. Give the guy a break, he's been through some big changes. Large male dogs aren't his favorite but he is great with smaller males and great with females. Jack is also fed separately from others to avoid any altercations. He does like to be heard and howl at music or any odd sounds. He is currently a great alarm clock! He is crate trained and doing well learning not to mark in the house. Jack is neutered, vaccinated, microchiped and 4DX tested. He did test positive for anaplasm, a tick born disease. If you think Jack is the man for you, he will be patiently waiting for you!
