He’s excitable in the best way, greeting life with bright eyes, a wagging tail, and a readiness to play that can turn even an ordinary afternoon into something fun. Whether he’s zooming around the yard, proudly carrying a toy, or bouncing over to say hello, Dipper’s enthusiasm is wonderfully contagious. Beneath all that pep is a sweet, affectionate pup who loves being part of the action and thrives with someone who enjoys an active, happy companion. If you’re looking for a spirited buddy who makes every day feel a little brighter, Dipper is ready to leap right in. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
