About Romy
Meet Romy, a small French Bulldog/Dachshund mix with a huge personality. She bounces with excitement when released from her kennel and prefers to carry her favorite toy around the house. Romy loves sticking close to her person, shadowing you from room to room, and curling up for a good show or just a long snuggle. She thrives on playtime, especially with another dog or an older child. Romy finds very young kids a bit overwhelming, so a home without toddlers is best. She’s sharp, eager to please, and already knows how to use a doggie door and kennel up. She picked up a bit of mischief, learning to scale baby gates alongside a canine accomplice, but only tries this during group mischief. Romy has completed all her vetting, is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her own family. She’ll do best in a home within driving distance of Leavenworth, KS, and requires an in-person visit as part of adoption. She’s ready for a forever friend who appreciates her loyalty, intelligence, and need for occasional airborne moments. Your new best friend is just one click away.
