Meet Benji! Benji is an 8 yo male Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing in at about 90 lbs. Benji's family has gone their separate ways, and are no longer able to care for him they way have since he was puppy. Being left behind is not fair. It would be hard on anyone, but we know Benji will overcome his disappointment with consistent affection and attention. Patient love always wins! Benji is housebroken and well behaved in the home. He is good with children, cats, and female dogs. Typical of the breed, Benji likes to patrol his yard and alert to potential dangers - whether they be super villains or simply the mailman. Whomever is creeping up will know they've been spotted. When he is inside, he enjoys a nice afternoon of window watching. An astute observer, he will learn the comings and goings of his potential new neighborhood in no time! Benji would be the perfect addition to an active family with lots of love to give and time to spend giving belly rubs and treats. He really just wants a forever family.
