About Benji
Benji is an Anatolian Shepherd mix, about eight years old and weighing around 90 lbs. He’s seen his family split up and is on the lookout for a new home where he can settle in for good. Benji has grown up with plenty of care and affection, and while being left behind has been hard, he warms up with patient love and attention. He’s reliable in the house—fully housebroken and well mannered. Benji gets along well with children, cats, and female dogs, making him a solid choice for families with other pets or young kids. As is typical for his breed, Benji keeps a close eye on his yard, alerting you to anyone approaching, whether it’s just the mailman or something more interesting. Inside, he likes to spend time watching the world from the window, picking up on the rhythms of the neighborhood. He fits best with an active family ready to share affection, space to roam, and a steady supply of belly rubs. Note: Benji is being rehomed from his current family with help from Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue. To meet Benji, an application and introduction with his current family will be arranged.
