About Captain

Meet Captain! This playful, loving big boy is ready to find an active and fun family to call his own. This handsome pup wandered up to a kind woman's home, and despite her efforts to locate an owner, no one ever came forward for him. During a vet visit, it was discovered that he had a stick lodged in the roof of his mouth that had begun to rot. Thankfully, there was no lasting damage to his mouth or teeth. Captain loves attention, playtime, and anything involving water -- even mud puddles make him happy! At 78lbs, he's a big teddy bear with an even bigger heart and so much love to share. After a day of fun, he's more than happy to head home, stretch out, and soak up all the back scratches and cuddles he can get. Captain would thrive with an outdoor-loving family who enjoys adventures, exploring, and making memories together. If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy with a sweet personality, Captain may just be your perfect match!
