About Willajean

After lovingly raising three kittens, Willa-Jean is finally ready to focus on herself for a change. This sweet momma will be spayed soon and is slowly settling back into regular cat life. She's trading “protective mom mode” for deep naps, catnip toys, and well-earned relaxation. Willa-Jean is a chirpy little lady with plenty to say, especially around mealtime. She loves snacks, appreciates a full bowl, and will gladly help clean up any leftovers she discovers nearby. Retirement has not affected her appetite one bit. She absolutely adores catnip toys and happily entertains herself by batting them across the floor while making the cutest little chirping sounds. When playtime is over, Willa-Jean becomes a professional lap warmer and champion napper. She loves curling up for long, heavy naps with her people nearby. Willa-Jean is wonderfully easy to handle. She can be picked up and carried around, and even nail trims are no trouble for this easy-going girl. She’s currently readjusting to sharing space with other pets and is doing very well as her maternal instincts continue to settle. We expect she’ll integrate beautifully into a home with other cats after her spay, but she would also likely be very happy as an only cat soaking up all the attention herself. Willa-Jean is about 2 years old and vaccinated. Her spay has been scheduled. She is indoor only and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $80. She would make a lovely family companion for someone looking for a gentle, affectionate cat with a playful streak and a big appreciation for the cozy life. If your home could use a chirpy lap cat with a fondness for catnip and naps, Willa-Jean is ready to move in. If you are interested in adopting, you can download our Adoption Application at tinyurl.com/oswego-humane-app; OR if you might even consider becoming a temporary foster caregiver, we would be excited (and pay all the bills!). You can email your completed application and any questions to info@oswegohumane.org!
