**Please fill out an application per instructions below NOT a Petfinder Inquiry if you want more information** Meet Stella (formerly Seven) Stella has already had quite the journey. She used to spend her days charming customers from a favorite barstool at a pub on E Burnside, where a kind regular noticed she was pregnant and made sure she got the help she needed. Since coming to NWAC, Stella has lovingly raised a litter of kittens who inherited her sweet, gentle, easygoing personality. Now that her babies are grown, it’s finally Stella’s turn to be cared for and spoiled in a forever home of her own. Stella is a soft, affectionate girl who loves being near her people. She can be shy when meeting someone new, but once she feels safe, she absolutely blossoms. She adores pets, quiet companionship, and following her humans around the house. She’s even starting to discover the joys of lap time and is learning that cuddling is pretty wonderful. She would thrive in a calm, loving indoor home where she can settle in at her own pace and build trust. Once she does, you’ll have a loyal little shadow who just wants to be close to you. About Stella’s FIV+ Status: Stella is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive), but she is currently completely healthy and living a normal, happy life. Cats with FIV can often live long lifespans with very little extra care. A few important things to know: FIV is not easily spread — it is typically transmitted through deep bite wounds from serious fighting. Many FIV+ cats safely live with non-FIV cats when everyone gets along. Stella simply needs regular vet care, a low-stress indoor lifestyle, and loving humans who will notice if she ever seems under the weather. FIV is not a death sentence — many FIV+ cats live long, healthy, wonderful lives. Stella has already spent her life taking care of others. Now she’s ready for a quiet, loving home where she can finally just be someone’s cherished cat. Please head to our website to fill out a free application to learn more about this cat and to start the adoption process.
