About Nelson
Nelson is packed with personality and doesnāt hide it. Heās confident, opinionated, and quick to let you know where you standāsometimes with a swat or bite if you arenāt in his inner circle. This isnāt a hands-off feral, though. For those patient enough to put in the time and effort, Nelson becomes a surprisingly sweet and affectionate companion, even greeting his chosen people with chatty stories. Heās high-energy and can get bored, so he thrives on toys and enrichment; a home with adults or older kids willing to keep him engaged will bring out his best. This is not an entry-level catāNelson needs someone experienced who respects his boundaries and quirks but is ready for a loyal, ever-evolving companion. Nelson did previously live with other cats and gets along with his fellow feline Brooks at the shelter, so a multi-cat home could work. He doesnāt seem too bothered by dogs nearby, but thatās untested in a home. Because of his spunk, supervise any outdoor time carefully and wait until he's settled in, as adventurous types like him can wander. Nelson is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and looking for someone who āgetsā a cat with a bit of an edge. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
