At just 4 months old and barely 5 lbs, this adorable little mixed breed girl (maybe Jack Russell Terrier, Rat Terrier, Chihuahua… or a little bit of everything!) is overflowing with sass, smarts, and snuggles. Sassy is the total package: playful, affectionate, intelligent, and absolutely hilarious. She can entertain herself — and everyone around her — with toys for hours, proudly carrying giant sticks around the yard like trophies. She loves walks, zooming around outside, and lounging in the grass soaking up the sunshine. When playtime is over, she’s more than happy to curl up in your lap for belly rubs and cuddles. In fact, Sassy has never met a stranger — she loves all humans, big and small! This little girl is incredibly smart, too. In just one week, she’s already learning to ring puppy bells to let her foster mama know she needs to go outside. She already knows “sit” and “no” (most of the time!), sits politely while getting her collar and leash on, and is doing wonderfully with house training. She’s also a fantastic walking buddy and loves getting out to explore the world. Sassy adores other dogs, especially playful pups who can keep up with her energetic spirit. She does great with cats, too! While she would love a furry sibling to wrestle and play with, she’d also thrive as the center of attention because honestly… she loves everybody. Because she’s a busy, high-energy little pup, Sassy is looking for an active forever family that will keep her mentally and physically stimulated. A fenced yard would be ideal unless she’ll be getting regular walks and adventures. She’s not crate trained yet, but she’s eager to learn and incredibly food motivated.
