Meet Evie, a one-year-old, 5.6-pound Chihuahua mix with a story as sweet as her smile. Found wandering the streets of San Francisco, this little girl arrived at the shelter wide-eyed and frightened — but don’t let her shy start fool you. In the care of her foster family and foster dog companions, Evie is blossoming into the cheerful, playful, snuggle-obsessed sweetheart she was always meant to be. She’s loyal, wonderful with kids, and while she may take a moment to warm up to new faces, once she does, she’s a full-on love bug. Oh, and this girl can jump — with the right training, she could be a natural agility star! Healthy, happy, and making great strides in her potty training, Evie would thrive in a warm home where she can cuddle her people and ideally have a canine companion to keep her confidence soaring. Available through Grateful Dogs Rescue, this little love is ready to find her forever family. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs.
