Diesel is just SO easy to love. He’s gentle, goofy, affectionate, and has the most irresistible big-headed, short-bodied little look that people immediately fall for in person. Multiple volunteers described him as calm, easygoing, patient, and genuinely sweet. He loves booty scratches, head rubs, treats, toys, car rides, walks, and honestly just being included. Diesel knows "sit," takes treats gently, and seems like a dog who has lived in a home before. He regularly goes potty as soon as he gets outside and walks well overall, though he can get excited and pull a bit when he has bursts of energy. Once he settles in, he’s happy to sniff around, explore, and soak up affection. He’s done outings around Atlanta including PetSmart, the BeltLine, breweries, and meeting new people, and volunteers consistently say he’s friendly with everyone he meets. He’s social, silly, and has this lovable "hammy ham" personality that makes people laugh. Underneath the excitement, Diesel is really just a soft, loving boy who wants attention, treats, and someone to call his own. He’s the type of dog who feels like a best friend waiting to happen.
