Simba was surrendered to the shelter when his family faced housing issues. He is a gentle and sweet boy who is good with kids. He loves other dogs, but he’s like the adorably awkward kid on the playground who wants to play with the other kids but isn’t certain how to initiate play! If he gets to live with another dog one day, he hopes they’ll help him learn how to play! He may initially be a little shy and he appreciates a few minutes to realize new people are safe, but volunteers all agree that he pretty quickly warms up and becomes an affectionate love! He’s known to politely crawl into volunteers’ laps for a cuddle! One quirk of his: he doesn’t seem to care much about treats! He’s ready to find his forever home!
