Hi! My name is Max and I am a fully potty-trained, affectionate pup who is ready to find my forever family and become your ultimate loyal companion. I am incredibly friendly and already happily coexist with both cats and large dogs, making me a perfect addition to a multi-pet home. I absolutely adore children and love making new friends, especially anyone willing to give me my favorite chin and cheek scratches. I am also highly smart and eager to please; I already know "sit," "down," and "come here," and because I am so motivated by tasty treats, teaching me new tricks is an absolute breeze. While I am already 90% crate trained and always settle down nicely for sleep, I am still polishing up a few of my skills as I transition out of puppyhood. I sometimes get a little excited on walks when I see new friends, but I am actively working on my focus skills and mastering the "sit and stay calm" command around distractions. After a fun day of playing chase, my absolute favorite way to unwind is to play with my toys and snuggle up right next to you on the couch. Best of all, I successfully finished my heartworm treatment this past May and am completely healthy, energized, and ready to be your future running partner!
