Evie arrived in rescue after her previous family could no longer care for her. Her foster mom says: Meet Evie! If you’re looking for a dog with personality packed into a tiny body, Evie is your girl. This adorable little corgi is equal parts mischievous, playful, loving, and hilariously dramatic. Typical corgi style, she believes every meal may be her last, so there is absolutely NEVER a moment where Evie isn’t hungry. Snacks are her love language. Evie is crate trained and does well overall. She may protest with a few barks when first settling in, but she calms down nicely — especially if you toss a blanket over the crate for her. She’s learning household manners and will need some continued correction and consistency, but she responds well and wants to please. She walks nicely on a leash and does well with other dogs when given a proper introduction. Due to her size and personality, smaller dogs would likely be the best fit for her. A fenced yard would make Evie incredibly happy because this girl LOVES to play and zoom around. Toys are one of her favorite things, and she always keeps life entertaining. One of Evie’s funniest little quirks is how submissive and sweet she is with people. The second you go to pet her, she’ll dramatically flop over onto her back for belly rubs like she’s completely incapable of resisting affection. It’s impossible not to laugh. Evie is the kind of dog that will keep you smiling daily. She’s goofy, spirited, affectionate, and full of charm — she just needs someone willing to embrace all the hilarious corgi chaos that comes with her. Evie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned! Evie is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $400.
