About Sierra

Sierra and Summit were given up to a small rural shelter where the odds were stacked against them, but a local rescuer stepped in and gave them a second chance. When Sierra arrived, her white fur was a mess from one of the harshest flea and tick infestations the team had seen. She got cleaned up, treated, and quickly found comfort in her spa day, leaning into every ear rub and gentle touch. It's clear Sierra is a resilient, affectionate dog who craves real family warmth. She’s about 2 years old, currently being treated for heartworm, and is set to be spayed once her treatment wraps up. There’s a good chance Sierra is deaf, but she follows expressions so well that you may not notice. Sierra and Summit do not have to be adopted together, but Sierra must go to a home where she’ll always be safe from neglect. She gets along well with other dogs and with children, and she's available for adoption in the Northeast, including NY, NJ, CT, RI, VT, PA, DE, MD, and Northern VA. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
