Meet Sadie Sweet Sadie has been living in a foster home since arriving. This pretty pup is an 11-year-old chihuahua. She was surrendered to our shelter when her “people” said they no longer “had time” for her. Well, we wanted Sadie and made room to give her a second chance. She is absolutely precious. She’s just a tiny, innocent soul trying to find a loving home that will care for her through her golden years. Sadie loves people! Being with people is her favorite thing in the whole world! She loves being in the middle of the activity, even if she’s just sitting in her pillow. She is incredibly social, sweet, very calm and interested in those around her. She likes to chat about her day and is a great conversationalist. She is crate trained, but being so tiny, just 10 lbs. she has to go potty a little more often. Sadie is housetrained and well-mannered. When she has to go outside, she will let you know by spinning in a circle. Adorable! Her foster caregivers say that when they leave the house, they put her in a room with their other dogs, and she does great for three to four hours. If they can take her with them, they do because she loves to ride in a car, is well-behaved and easy to carry around. She likes other dogs and does well with kids. She doesn’t seem to like cats though. Sadie loves a snuggly pillow or to be in your lap. She likes being held but she also walks well on a leash. Sadie doesn’t know what happened to the world she once knew, but she has been welcomed by her foster family and that has helped her transition immensely. She is looking for a stable, loving, forever home where she feels safe and protected. If looking for a lovely, tiny and easy-going companion to chat with, travel with, snuggle with Sadie is all that.
