Meet Ellie: Ellie is about a 7 month old (as of May 2026) flat coat retriever mix that weighs about 30 pounds. Ellie was surrender to a high kill shelter in AR because her owner did not have time for her. We promised Ellie we would find her the best forever home. Ellie is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Ellie has a very sweet personality! Ellie loves attention and is a playful pup that does great with all people, including children. Ellie has done really well with other dogs that she has been around and even the resident cat. Ellie walks well on a leash and is both crate and house trained. We would love for Ellie to have a home with a fenced in yard so she can run and play freely. Ellie is up to date on her shots and is scheduled to be spayed May 22nd. Ellie is a beautiful, happy, young, tail-wagging girl ready to mold into a variety of family situations - would she fit into yours?
